Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate ( Full time Qualified level 1,2,4,5Early Years Educator) (NOT LEVEL 3) to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with young children. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support children's development in a nurturing environment, fostering their social, emotional, and educational growth. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children. A valid driving licence is desirable to facilitate transportation needs.
Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education standards
- Supervise and support children during play, mealtime, rest periods, and outdoor activities
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and independence
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities for reporting purposes
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents to ensure the well-being and developmental needs of each child are met
- Manage daily routines efficiently while demonstrating leadership within the team
- Assist in organising educational resources and maintaining the cleanliness of the childcare environment
- Support new staff or interns through guidance and management to uphold high standards of childcare
Qualifications
- 1 Years experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and childcare practices
- Minimum (NCFE CACHE/BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Childcare)
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated management and leadership abilities within a childcare environment
- Experience with nursery management or team supervision is advantageous
- Valid driving licence to support transportation requirements is desirable
- Passionate about early childhood education with a caring and nurturing attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
