Turntable Trader LTD is a growing business in Zone 1 London specialising in buying, refurbishing and selling pre-loved DJ equipment. We work with CDJs, mixers, turntables and all sorts of pro audio gear. We’re looking for someone practical and motivated who wants real hands-on experience working with electronics and music equipment.
If you enjoy tinkering, figuring things out, and being around DJ gear, you’ll fit right in.
Role Overview
You’ll be helping with repairs, refurb work and general workshop tasks, as well as supporting the shop when customers come in. That includes greeting people, showing them equipment and helping with day-to-day bits around the place.
No need for years of experience - just good practical ability, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in music or electronics.
Key Responsibilities
Workshop & Technical Work
- Helping diagnose issues with DJ/audio equipment
- Soldering work
- Replacing components, buttons, faders, knobs, screens etc.
- Cleaning, servicing and refurbishing gear
- Testing equipment before and after repairs
- Keeping the workshop organised
Shop & Customer Support
- Greeting customers and answering basic questions
- Demonstrating equipment like CDJs and mixers
- Packing orders or preparing items for collection
- Keeping the shop tidy and presentable

- Someone hands-on with good attention to detail
- Previous solder
- Interest in DJing, music production or electronics
- Keen to learn new skills
- Friendly and comfortable talking to customers
- Reliable and organised
