Allison-Smith Company is seeking a qualified Project Manager who can perform at a high level on complex projects.
Job Description:
You will assist the lead project manager in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of electrical construction projects. This includes managing project schedules, budgets, resources, and personnel to ensure high-quality, timely, and safe project delivery. The role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and resolving technical issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Project Manager in the following tasks:
- Lead and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completion
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Supervise and coordinate electrical teams, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, codes, and regulations
- Plan, develop, and track overall and short-term project task schedules to ensure production
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality
- Communicate project status to clients, stakeholders, and senior management
- Address and resolve any technical or logistical issues that may arise during construction
- Review and approve work plans, change orders, and submittals
Entry Level Qualifications:
- Recent graduate with electrical engineering or related field engineering, or construction management degree, or minimum 3 years related experience
- Comprehensive four-to-five-year Electrical Apprenticeship Program with Project Supervision experience is an alternate educational/experience qualification
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Training and Development:
Project Managers will be encouraged and trained to develop an entrepreneurial business approach to managing the electrical construction of a variety of commercial, mission critical, and industrial projects.
