About the Role
As a Trainee Roof Sheeter & Cladder, you’ll be part of a professional crew working on industrial and commercial buildings across the region and beyond.
You’ll learn how to install a wide range of modern roofing and cladding systems, gaining hands-on experience with specialist tools, access equipment and large-scale construction environments.
You’ll travel, you’ll learn, you’ll develop — and you’ll be part of a team that takes real pride in every project.
This role involves daily travel, working throughout the local area, and nights away from home when required.
Who We’re Looking For
- 18+ (industry requirement)
- Full UK driving license or working towards it.
- Must have transport to reach one of our central pick-up points in Weymouth, Dorchester or Martock
- Good GCSE-level education
- CSCS card preferred but not required (support provided)
- Polite, well-mannered and able to communicate clearly
- Physically fit, strong and comfortable working at height
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Excellent team player with a great sense of humour
- Reliable, punctual, self-motivated and eager to learn
- Prepared to work long hours + weekend overtime when required
- Comfortable travelling daily and staying away from home when needed
