Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of young children, ensuring they receive the best possible start in their educational journey.
Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive approach to early years education and childcare.
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities, achievements, and any concerns regarding their wellbeing.
- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support children's learning and development.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education.
Requirements
This Level 3 apprenticeship training programme develops the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to work in a childcare setting with the opportunity to take responsibility for leading childcare provision.
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to drive is preferred for potential off-site activities or training sessions.
- A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development through play-based learning experiences.

- Duties may include: · Support to implement learning activities working with individual or small groups of pupils, · Support to assist the development of varying skills that support pupils' learning.
- Working to the relevant apprenticeship standard/framework and completing work in a timely manner, · To the accountabilities above, the apprentice may be required to undertake any of the duties normally
