Salary: £15,000 - 30,000 per year
Requirements:
- Experience as an assessor, coach, trainer, or mentor in adult learning, ideally within apprenticeships or technical training
- Strong industry experience in business analysis, data analysis, project delivery, digital transformation, or process improvement
- Familiarity with BA tools and methodologies (for example: requirements elicitation, SWOT/PESTLE, user stories, BPMN, process maps, gap analysis, data modelling, problem-solving frameworks)
- Relevant teaching or assessing qualifications (CAVA, AET, PGCE, or equivalent)
- A collaborative and flexible nature
- High emotional intelligence with a professional, empathetic approach
Responsibilities:
- Coaching and mentoring a caseload of adult learners on the Level 4 Business Analyst standard (as well as learners from other Leadership & Management programmes)
- Providing high-quality, motivational, and developmental feedback — both written and verbal — on portfolio evidence, skills development, and workplace application
- Tracking and monitoring learner progress through our LMS (Aptem), ensuring learning, evidence collection, and off-the-job training requirements stay on track
- Supporting learners to develop and evidence core BA competencies such as problem solving, requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis
- Supporting learners to complete the programme within their planned end date
- Preparing learners for EPA, including portfolio readiness, project requirements, and professional discussion preparation
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure high-quality learning experiences and exceptional learner outcomes
