BCA Automotive operate a transporter fleet supporting a large number of motor industry customers, including vehicle manufacturers and leasing companies. They handle the movement of manufacturer’s vehicles from port of entry to retail dealerships and subsequent moves from dealerships into the wholesale used vehicle sector.
No car transporter experience is necessary, we will train you and provide you with all the support required to carry out your daily duties.
Apprenticeship scheme – How does it all work?
You will join the scheme and be employed by the company whilst you work towards your HGV Licence, you will be put forward for your theory and whilst waiting for this go through a comprehensive learning program both theoretical and practical.
Along with other prospective candidates you will get a chance to experience the HGV Car Transporters up close and watch an experienced driver load and unload the vehicle. Senior Management and experienced driving staff will talk you through the job and show you the challenges to such a role.
This is an 8 to 12 month programme where the right candidates will develop through the increasing truck sizes culminating in our large 11+ Car Transporters.

These roles for BCA are all long-haul tramping driving jobs where you will be away for a week at a time on the road.
Applicants must have the following:
· Must hold a full UK car licence.
· No more than 6 points on your license
· Polite and pleasant personality
· Smart appearance as you will be customer facing
We are looking for:
This job would suit someone who is happy to work and sleep away from home all week. There are early morning starts and it is not the most glamourous job! You will be transporting expensive cargo across the UK in a large car transporter.
