Role and Responsibilities:
We are looking for someone with a passion for B2B technology, marketing and revenue growth, with a real desire to learn. This apprenticeship will give you exposure to all areas of our marketing function. You will support multi-channel campaigns across LinkedIn, our website, webinars, roundtable events, email marketing, and other B2B distribution channels.
You will help us strengthen how we present the company in the market, communicate our services, and generate and nurture pipeline. With our focus on marketing excellence and your drive to develop, you’ll have access to everything needed to achieve your Level 3 qualification, with permanent opportunities available after successful completion.
● Support the creation and scheduling of LinkedIn content for the company and its leaders
● Update and optimise website content in our CMS, keeping pages accurate and aligned to campaign goals
● Assist with building and distributing integrated B2B campaigns across email, social, webinars and events
● Support webinar and roundtable promotion, including landing pages and attendee communications
● Help with basic design tasks such as formatting assets and resizing images using simple tools
● Maintain marketing lists, segmentation, and nurture journeys in HubSpot or other CRM systems
● Perform quality checks across digital assets (links, formatting, brand alignment, tracking)
● Track campaign results in dashboards or spreadsheets to support performance reviews
● Support content repurposing, such as turning webinars into LinkedIn posts, blogs, and email copy
Area of knowledge gained:
● Marketing theory, concepts and basic principles such as what marketing is, the marketing mix, the promotional mix and the difference between each channel.
● The business’ structure, vision, and priorities objectives, and how their marketing role supports these.
● Business tools used to measure the impact of business objectives, the wider environment and sustainability on marketing activities.
● What a marketing plan is, how it is built and its purpose.
● The importance of competitor analysis and how to undertake it.
● Brand theory such as positioning, value, identity, guidelines, and tone of voice for B2B services.
● Create content using design and copywriting principles, adapting for LinkedIn, website, email, webinars, and events.
● Current and emerging technologies, software and systems impacting marketing, especially in the company, CRM and AI.
● Relevant regulatory and legislative requirements such as data protection, GDPR, cyber security, copyright law and ASA guidelines.
● Principles of ethical, inclusive marketing communications.
● How internal stakeholders support campaign delivery (Sales, Service Delivery, Leadership).
● Integrated campaign planning across channels and audience touchpoints.
● Briefing and managing external suppliers when needed.
● Content marketing and thought leadership principles in B2B.
● Budget basics and ROI measurement.
● Marketing performance metrics and optimisation through regular review.
● The customer journey, personas, sales funnels, segmentation and targeting.
● The impact of marketing on customer experience and community/event engagement.
● Quality management of online and offline assets.
● Skills Required
Passion for Marketing & Sales Technology ● 5 GCSEs grade A*- C/ 9-4 or equivalent (Including English Language & Maths)
