THE POSITION
This is a rare chance to learn product strategy through true apprenticeship. We’re seeking a Technical Product Manager to shadow and work directly with senior product leadership as we shape the next generation of intelligent software.
You’ll be at the intersection of customers, technology, and strategy — learning how great products are conceived, validated, and brought to life. This dynamic role blends customer insight, product design, market research, and hands-on prototyping.
You’ll gain real experience using modern tools and emerging technologies to research, build, and communicate ideas—turning early concepts into actionable plans and tangible demonstrations.
This role reports directly to VP of Product.
What you will be doing
- Join customer discussions, capture key insights, and translate feedback into clear product themes and frameworks
- Research industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive moves to support strategic decision-making
- Translate customer and market input into well-structured product requirements and internal stories
- Use advanced productivity and AI-assisted tools to draft product documents, research summaries, and analyses
- Design and iterate on early feature concepts, creating lightweight prototypes and visual storyboards to illustrate ideas
- Test and refine product concepts with internal teams and select users
- Streamline recurring workflows and reporting processes through automation and tool integration
- Prepare concise, executive-level deliverables such as product briefs, market snapshots, and strategy updates
the ideal candidate
- 1–4 years of experience in product, strategy, or technical roles (or an exceptional new graduate eager to learn)
- Fast learner, technically curious and comfortable experimenting with modern tools, frameworks, or coding basics to bring concepts to life
- Hands-on builder who enjoys turning ideas into visible demos — whether through interactive mock-ups, simple code, or low-code tools
- Strong communicator who can illustrate ideas through visuals, prototypes, or simulations
- Analytical thinker with an ability to connect dots across customer insights, data, and business goals
- Independent, organized, and proactive — takes ownership from concept to tangible output
- Collaborative and confident working with engineering, product, and leadership teams
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project (or equivalent)
It is expected that candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or comparable software education.
COMPENSATION / LOCATION
This position is located at Qnovo HQ office in Milpitas, CA. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
