Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for a talented HR Apprentice to join our HR team. We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate a keen interest in HR and Recruitment. The role will be based at our Altrincham office, and the salary will be in line with current apprenticeship rates.

Full Description:
As a HR Apprentice, you will gain practical experience and industry-recognised qualifications while supporting our busy HR team in delivering a high-quality, professional service to our legal and support departments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about a career in HR within the legal sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding.
- Maintain and update employee records on our HR systems (e.g. absences, training, performance reviews.)
- Support the administration of payroll, benefits, and compliance documentation.
- Assist in organising training sessions, employee engagement activities, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Help manage HR queries from staff, escalating where necessary.
- Contribute to HR projects such as diversity and inclusion, policy development, and process improvements.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee data.
Future Prospects:
Progression to HR Assistant and HR Advisor. Further level 5 qualifications.

Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.
Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.
Skills Required & Personal Qualities:
- A strong interest in HR, ideally within a professional services or legal environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
- Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
- Discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information with integrity
Qualifications Required:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above (required)
- A-Levels or equivalent Level 3 qualification (required)
- Eligibility to undertake a Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship Standard
