As someone with a background in data and analytics, you understand how powerful data can be in driving improvement, measuring impact, and shaping strategic decisions. We’re inviting you to bring that expertise to volunteer for our Board of Governors to help strengthen our governance and improve outcomes for learners.

- The Board of Governors has been established since 2022.
- Meetings are held every 8 weeks for one hour from 8.30-9.30am on weekdays online via Microsoft Teams.
- This is a voluntary position with travel, catering and associated costs paid for by the organisation as required.
- Support and training will be provided by the leadership and management team at Apprenticeship Connect to implement goals and monitor performance.

Apprenticeship Connect is an independent training provider of apprenticeships and are seeking governors to support the organisation’s mission to become a world-class provider of education through the development of a broad and rich curriculum, and an aspirational culture, reinforced by effective governance. Apprenticeship Connect has helped the careers of thousands of learners helping individuals to flourish, achieve and developed their unique talents. The appointment of new governors is designed to support the organisation’s next phase of strategic development.
Apprenticeship Connect is directly funded by the Department for Education and rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
Governor role information
Location: meetings are generally held remotely via video call, occasional in person meetings may be required in London.
Expected start date: ongoing recruitment
Remuneration: unpaid/volunteer. Governors’ roles aren’t remunerated however travel, sustenance and training expenses are paid.
