As an Accountancy Apprentice, you will complete the new apprenticeship standard, Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship at Level 3 or 4. Within the apprenticeship you will undertake the AAT Level 3/ AAT L4 qualification which will be completed at a Training centre or via the Online Classroom Live platform, in addition to at the workplace.
Full Description:
- Use of Sage 50 and QuickBooks to maintain books and produce trial balance, profit & loss and other reports.
- Processing invoices and expenses on Sage 50 / QuickBooks / other software's.
- Prepare invoices/credit notes.
- Bank reconciliation – reconcile transactions on bookkeeping platforms with bank statements.
- Production of monthly/periodic management reports and accounts.
- Process monthly payrolls including general payroll queries and related issues.
- Prepare HMRC related returns including monthly PAYE/NI submissions and quarterly VAT returns.
- Admin and any other ad-hoc duties as required.
- French speaking is preferable but not necessary.
Future Prospects:
Potential to be offered a permanent contract and support with future studies doing ACCA as well as career progression.

Pramex provides services to French parent entities looking to set up and operate subsidiaries in the United Kingdom.
This means incorporating, payroll, pension, HR advice, bookkeeping, managing accounts and administration.
Training Provided:
As an Accountancy Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship at Level 3. Within the apprenticeship you will undertake the full AAT Level 3 qualification.
The apprenticeship will be completed at a BPP centre or via the Online Classroom platform, in addition to at the workplace
Duration: 18 months
Skills Required:
- Fluency in French: Must be able to communicate effectively in French.
- Computer literate and thorough understanding of Company software.
- Efficient Administration skills.
- High level interpersonal skills – Ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business relationships.
- Communication skills.
- Able to communicate to people with various levels of knowledge face to face, over the telephone and in writing.
- Experience within Outlook, Word and Excel would be beneficial.

- Willing to work on their own as well as in a team.
- Happy to take guidance and instructions in order to learn.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of 2 A Levels at grade C and 5 GCSEs A-C including English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.
Other Information:
French communication proficiency is essential for this role.
