Fleet Factors is a family run business founded upon Teesside in 1975. In more recent years Fleet have implemented a stores management service to blue chip companies, councils and public services. Essentially, we assist or run the stores for the business allowing them to focus on their own priorities. Fleet now have over 350 employees in 26 branches with over 200 Stores management sites nationwide. We supply truck & trailer parts, car & van parts, lubricants and consumables along with refinish products from a range of suppliers and OE brands being delivered to our national customer base through our trusted fleet.
An excellent opportunity for the role of a Parts Apprentice to join the Fleet team has risen. We are looking for someone enthusiastic to join our team to be put through the Training Scheme. They will get training and experience in all aspects of vehicle parts including stores work, delivery driving, parts identification and all aspects of stock management.
40 Hours Per Week Monday to Friday
Main Duties and Desired Skills:
- Maintenance and development for stores
- Raising stock orders
- Goods in and despatch (including deliveries/returns/receipts)
- GRN/stock transfers (and general administration)
- Improvement of slow-moving stocks
- Stock checks
- Managing surcharges
Full training will be provided.
12 month apprenticeship, gain a NVQ L2A.
