Job Description
Steel Fabricator required for our independent steel fabrication business creating solutions in all aspects of welding and fabrication. We cover a broad spectrum of sectors including construction, agriculture and industrial and the food industry.
We fabricate and install fabrications for our valued customers as well as machinery/equipment supplied by others. A large amount of work has been for the renewable energy industry, where working alongside other companies staff as a team is paramount to meet the clients timescales and objectives.
Our aim is to uphold a high standard of workmanship in all aspects of our fabrication and installation.
Job Role & Main Responsibilities
We are looking for a self-motivated steel fabricator to join our developing business.
The role would be suited to someone who wants to be a valued team member, work closely with clients, uphold a high standard with the ability to develop themselves within a growing business, we are now UKCA approved so the chosen candidate will need to have experience in this process or be able to adapt to it.
The role would include:
· Fabrication and site installation.
· Workshop based fabrication to engineering drawings.
· Regional travel to sites (transport and accommodation provided where needed) and the ability to adapt to the needs of the business.
· Weekend work and overtime will be required.
Preferred skills / Experience
· We require skills in all aspects of welding including MIG, TIG and Stick.
· Skills in general fabrication preferred, operating cutting and folding equipment.
· Full driving licence.
· Experience in the food, construction and agricultural industries would be beneficial.
· Ability to read and work to detailed fabrication drawings.
· Must be able to follow instructions.
· Punctual and reliable.

Hourly rate negotiated according to ability and experience. Overtime paid at time and a quarter on week days, time and half on Saturday and double time on Sunday.
