Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to gain hands-on experience in a nurturing environment. As an Apprentice, you will support the daily activities of our nursery, ensuring that children receive the highest standard of care and education.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging educational activities for children aged 0-5 years.
- Support the lead practitioners in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Observe and monitor children's development, providing feedback to the lead practitioners.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in childcare practices.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Strong management and leadership abilities to guide children in their learning journey.
- Previous experience working with children or in a nursery setting is highly desirable.
- A solid understanding of early childhood education principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or outings.
