Salary: £13,214 to £22,824 dependent on age and experience, plus a Tool Allowance

The Electrician Apprentice role:
We have an exciting, opportunity for three individuals to join our team as Electrician Apprentices!
As part of this role, you'll be trained and gain experience; abilities and skills in electrical installation and training will be given to attain an NVQ level 3 in Electrical during the apprenticeship period.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of our Electrician Apprentice:
- The ability to carry out all aspects of electrical work on maintenance, repairs, refurbishment and capital projects to Council properties.
- The safe driving and loading of vehicles.
- To understand, install, service and maintain electrical systems and appliances which may involve heavy lifting.
- To renew, maintain and repair all elements of electrical installations.
- To renew and repair external electrical installations and apparatus.
- To be fully conversant with all materials, cables and component parts.
What we are looking for in our Electrician Apprentice:
- Must possess a minimum of 3 GCSEs grade 4 or above or equivalent in Mathematics, English Language and a Science.
- Successful completion of an aptitude test, if applicable.
- To be self-motivated and take personal responsibility for the role.
- Demonstrate a positive, flexible approach to team working.
- Ability to work to proper instruction from a recognised Craftsperson.
- Ability to work at heights using ladders and scaffolding.
