Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a variety of settings in rewire and part rewire to ccu upgrades and testing. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work safely and efficiently. The Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical installations meet safety standards and regulations. Social housing experience is a plus.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant codes and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
