Accounts Apprentice, Harrogate, £19,000

Our client is seeking a motivated individual to join their expanding operations team as an Accountancy Apprentice. You’ll gain hands-on experience while working toward a professional qualification, supported by a competitive salary and a culture that encourages growth and initiative.
No prior accountancy experience is required. You’ll learn the fundamentals of accounting with full support toward your AAT, including one study day per week. You’ll also develop strong Excel skills and gain exposure to widely used finance systems such as Xero.
Key Responsibilities
• To process receipts and perform bank reconciliations• To process supplier invoices, reconcile supplier statements and process supplier payment runs• To reconcile council tax• To support with the preparation of month end management accounts• To raise invoices and process intercompany recharges• To support the Finance Manager and finance department as required• To support the Head of Finance with annual business plan preparation

Desirable
