Our Apprenticeships are site based and can take up to two years to complete. Apprentices work towards an HR qualification and an end point assessment.
The role is both varied and challenging based within the HR team who support colleagues across the business with HR support.
We require someone who is positive, enthusiastic and customer orientated who is looking to develop their skills and gain experience in a varied and challenging administrative role.
Your day-to-day duties will typically include:
- Performing and executing a defined range of administrative HR activities according to predetermined guidelines and procedures.
- Managing data and documentation handling at a local level.
- Participating in local HR activities such as recruiting, training, payroll support, onboarding and offboarding.
- Help identify process opportunities.
- Assist managers and HR team with Workday administration.
- Support with right to work checks.
- Assist Managers/HR with minutes and note taking.
- Other additional ad hoc tasks to support projects and other activities throughout the year.
- Completion of all academic assignments within agreed timescale which will be reviewed on a regular basis.
- Supporting STEM activities including work experience, volunteering and attendance at recruitment events.
What you need to make a difference
- GCSE Grade 4 or above in Maths and English or equivalent.
- ICT Level 2 is advantageous.
- A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
- Good knowledge of IT programmes including Excel.
- Flexible and adaptable in your approach.
- Great interpersonal and strong communication skills.
- The ability to contribute positively to a team working environment.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Good organisational skills and be able to self-manage your time.
