Overview
Glenangels is a family run independent nursery that has 30 children per day. The small team is very supportive with working owners always on hand to hear your views and for you to be a part of the daily operations and care of the children. We value your strengths and all of these can be pulled together in the team to teach our children.
We offer a really impressive working environment that gives you a feel-good feeling each day. There are lots of training opportunities available and career progression. The setting is beautiful with stunning outside gardens to walk and play in and offers the wow factor.
We offer 4 or 5 days a week working to suit you the hours are 8am to 6pm. To allow for appointments in your working week we offer a well-being programme to offer time off if needed in your week for any important appointments that may arise for you.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that cater for the needs of children.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Promoting positive interactions among children.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress and development..
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any incidents that may occur.
- Good teamwork and ownership of working
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Early Years
- Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to manage group dynamics with confidence and empathy.
- A passion for driving educational initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences.
- Flexibility to adapt educational methods based on individual children's needs.
