The Role
As a End User Computing Intern you will Deploy End User devices (Laptop, Desktop, Tough Book, Tough Pad & Printers) all in-scope Hardware and End User Devices and Applications/software as per the service levels and provide End User computing services.
Key responsibilities:
- Hardware Break fix and technical support for in-scope Hardware and End User Devices as per the service levels.
- Build and install PCs, network devices and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile devices) related to desktop infrastructure, in accordance with department standards.
- Provides advice and guidance to colleagues regarding incidents.
- Maintain installed PCs, networks and peripherals with routine maintenance.
- Register in CMDB/ Asset Tool information related to new Assets & update CMDB for any incoming or outgoing assets.
- Co-ordination with Third Party vendors for troubleshooting, Location access and Scheduling.
- Provide priority On-Site support to VIP’s.
- Install, Moves, Adds, Changes (IMACs) of assets.
- Touch support for DC servers and devices.
- Software or application deployment and troubleshooting.
- Adherence to all processes, standards and policies defined.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
- Knowledge on assemble & disassemble of EUC devices.
- Knowledge on Windows Active Directory and SCCM.
- knowledge on Windows Server operating systems.
- Knowledge on Windows 7 and 10.
- End User Computing.
- ITIL V3, Comptia A+ and Microsoft Technology Associate or equivalent.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationship with customer stakeholders and develop processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness for the client as an on-going basis.
