You will be joining a small, fast-moving team where your work will be directly visible and impactful.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated intern to support our data and machine learning workstreams. This role is hands-on and suited to someone who wants real exposure to how AI systems are built, structured, and governed in a commercial setting.

The role will focus on data input, data structuring, model support, and experimentation, rather than purely theoretical research.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, label, and structure datasets used in machine learning pipelines
Assist with data input and maintenance across internal AI systems and tooling
Support model training, testing, and evaluation under guidance from senior team members
Help document datasets, assumptions, and model behaviour for internal and compliance use
Work with small datasets initially, scaling to more complex data as the platform evolves
Assist in building and maintaining simple scripts or notebooks (Python-based)
Contribute to experimentation around prompt engineering, model behaviour, and risk controls
Support the wider team with ad-hoc analytical or technical tasks as required

Required Skills & Experience

Currently studying (or recently graduated in) Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Basic working knowledge of Python
Familiarity with data structures, datasets, and basic ML concepts
Comfort working with spreadsheets, CSVs, and structured data
Logical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
Strong written English for documentation and internal notes
