Role Overview
As a Network Engineer Apprentice, you’ll be a key part of the Eat IT Drink IT team, gaining practical skills and learning from experienced professionals. The role offers a combination of office-based work and travel to client sites, where you’ll tackle real-world challenges and provide technical support.Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve network and IT issues.
Configure and optimise networks to meet client needs.
Install network cabling, including Cat5 and Cat6 systems.
Set up and connect network devices such as routers, switches, servers, and computers.
Provide on-site technical support for clients, occasionally working on multi-day assignments.
Upgrade hardware components, including RAM and hard drives, and update operating systems such as Windows.
Configure and install routers for optimal performance.
Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.

Candidate Requirements

A valid driving licence is essential due to the requirement to travel to client locations.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
A genuine interest in IT, networking, and technology.
