Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This role offers hands-on experience in a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people operations and a keen interest in building a career in HR.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment and Onboarding- Assist in posting job openings on various platforms and tracking applications.
- Coordinate interviews, communicate with candidates, and provide timely feedback.
- Support onboarding processes, including document collection, orientation scheduling, and ensuring a seamless new hire experience.
2. HR Administration- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
- Support the preparation of HR-related documentation, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and policies.
- Assist with compliance tracking, ensuring all employee files are up-to-date and audit-ready.
3. Employee Engagement- Contribute to the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events.
- Gather feedback from employees through surveys and assist in analysing results.
- Help create communication materials for internal announcements or newsletters.
4. Training and Development- Assist in organising training sessions and maintaining training records.
- Support in preparing materials and coordinating logistics for workshops or seminars.
5. Ad-hoc Projects- Contribute to HR projects, such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, policy reviews, or organisational surveys.
- Conduct research on HR trends and provide insights to the team.
Qualifications and SkillsEducational Background- a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
Skills and Competencies- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Preferred (not mandatory)- Familiarity with HRIS or recruitment platforms.
- Previous internship or work experience in HR or administrative roles.
