Teaching Personnel have an amazing opportunity to work with an outstanding college based in Cambridge. The college are looking for a Quality Lead - Apprenticeships & Work Based Learning.
The primary duties, tasks and responsibilities of this job role:
- Ensure high standards of compliance with the learner sign up process in line with the College procedures, ensuring that all required documentation is completed efficiently and accurately.
- Manage the initial assessment and interview process, liaising with employers to support the apprentice in successful onboarding and ensure that assessment of learners starting points is used in planning and sequencing their learning regarding English, Maths and KSB’s.
- Ensure all apprentices have detailed training plans that ensure they make excellent progress towards timely gateway and the achievement of their EPA.
- Support the Work Based Learning Manager in ensuring that, for apprentices, off-the job training is effectively calculated, planned and tracked as part of the individual learners training plan and is robustly monitored.
- Maintain accurate records for all learners and employers, ensuring timely registration of learners with the appropriate awarding bodies and completing the appropriate learner progression and claims documentation in line with college procedures.
- Assist the Work Based Learning Manager and Head of Department with timetabling and case loading the provision within the area.
- Collaborate with the Work Based Learning Manager and Head of Department in the development of new apprenticeship standards, qualifications and programmes and support staff in the implementation and delivery of the standards.
Qualifications/ Essential Experience (Must have on entering for the role)
- Level 3 relevant vocational qualification and relevant vocational CPD
- Level 3 TAQA or Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational
- Qualifications (or equivalent, A1, etc) Level 3 Internal Quality Assurance
- Qualification Level 4 Leading Internal Quality Assurance Qualification
