Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our team. This role is designed for individuals eager to learn and develop their skills in a supportive environment. The Apprentice will assist in various tasks while gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in the field.
Tonic Health is a health and wellbeing charity based in South Lincolnshire, founded in 2016. Our provision includes support for mental health, dementia, and adults with SEND, as well as running youth clubs, delivering from three of our own sites and utilising satellite venues across South Holland and Boston. Across our last financial year, we saw over 12,000 attendees to our Hubs and projects. We receive funding from NHS, National Lottery, Sport England, BBC Children in Need and a host of other funding providers.
Duties
● Front of House and Reception: Provide welcoming front-desk support, including greeting and assisting visitors, guests, and beneficiaries using our facilities.
● Facilitation of the Wellbeing Hub: Support the efficient operation of the Spalding Wellbeing Hub, ensuring all beneficiaries’ needs are met.
● Planning and delivery of activities: lead and deliver on a variety of activities for groups and individuals, including physical activities and arts and crafts etc.
● Communication Management: Handle organisational enquiries across multiple channels, including email, phone, and in-person.
● Social Media and Communications Support: Create engaging social media content to promote the charity’s mission, events, and achievements.
● Safeguarding and Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguarding of all members’ personal information.
Skills
- IT and Administrative Skills: Utilise Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and social media platforms with proficiency to support daily operations.
- A background or interest in Health and Wellbeing is advantageous
- Ability to communicate with both adults and young adults
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude towards learning and personal development.
As a Wellbeing Connector Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the Spalding Wellbeing Hub. This is an ideal opportunity to develop valuable skills in customer service, plan and lead activities, digital content creation, and administration while contributing to the wellbeing of our community. You may be required to travel across our Hubs and satellite venues in South Holland and Boston from time to time.

Pay: £6.40 per hour
