The EMEA Theatrical Marketing Finance Apprentice plays a key role within the department providing financial and administrative support for our very busy teams.
This role requires an organised self-starter, with good attention to detail and an analytical eye, who thrives in a busy environment. In addition, this the role will necessitate the ability to multitask effectively, communicate with all members of the team and other key stakeholders as well as our vendors and agencies, and to adapt to different management styles across the team.
Your Role Accountabilities…
- Working with the European Theatrical department and the UK finance team on preparing, reviewing, and monitoring EMEA Regional budget estimates and tracking for our annual slate of films.
- Responsible for submitting monthly reforecasts to Burbank Marketing Finance team.
- Monitoring local territory ad pub budgets and communicating weekly updates to Home Office media and finance teams.
- Responsible for raising all the POs for the Marketing & Media Film Teams, Brand Partnerships, Exhibitor Relations, Publicity, and Creative Services department.
- Ensure that vendors’ invoices are paid in a timely fashion and proactively communicate status to relevant teams within the department.
- Ensuring that all open POs have been goods receipted ahead of the end of each financial quarter.
- Setting up suppliers with correct payment terms on our supplier system.
- Working with the distribution team on approvals of release scenarios for the annual slate of films.
- Pulling box office, release date schedules, and other various reports upon request from the marketing team.
Qualifications & Experience…
- Our apprenticeship positions are designed to be an alternative to university education, therefore we are only seeking applications from people who have not already graduated from university with a degree.
- Good with numbers and confident using MS Office (Excel / PowerPoint).
- Analytical and pay close attention to detail! Accuracy is the key.
- Well organised, disciplined and be confident in the ability to prioritise workload and use time effectively.
- Pro-active, “can do” attitude – try something approach.
- Able to communicate with both finance and non-finance people at all levels in a professional and mature manner.
The Apprenticeship...
- Salary: £20,500 p/a
- Contract Length: 18 months
- Start Date: ASAP
- 25 days annual leave
- Qualification: Level 3 AAT Apprenticeship
- You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
