About the Apprenticeships
Join us for an unparalleled experience combining hands-on training aboard our UK-flagged vessels in the Channel and top-notch classroom learning at the National Maritime Training Centre, North Kent College, Gravesend, Kent. Spanning 18 to 24 months, our program will equip you with the expertise and qualifications to thrive in the maritime industry.
- Deck Apprenticeships: Train to become a fully qualified Able-Bodied Seafarer.
- Engine Apprenticeships: Achieve City & Guilds Level 2 in Maritime Mechanical and Electrical Mechanic, and become an Engine Room Able Seafarer.

What We’re Looking For
To join our program, you should:
- Location: Live in Dover or nearby areas (critical for the 2:1 rotation, involving walking on/off the vessel).
- Age: Be aged between 18 and 24.
- Education: Have at least a Grade 5 (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and English.
- Medical Fitness: Be capable of passing an ENG1 Medical Fitness Test.
- Flexibility: Be prepared to live away from home during college phases and onboard during sea phases, with adjustments for high seasons and cabin availability.
- Passport: Hold a valid passport.
