Position Overview:
As an Electrical Apprentice, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under the guidance of experienced electricians. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to electrical codes, and a willingness to learn the trade. You will be expected to support journeymen and foremen in various tasks while gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills.
As an apprentice Electrician you will:
Assist with the installation of electrical raceways, wiring, fixtures, and equipment
Pull wires, mount panels, and help with electrical terminations
Follow work instructions and safety procedures as directed by supervisors and foremen
Use and maintain protective equipment and safety gear provided
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and work orders
Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using various tools
Help troubleshoot electrical issues and assist in repairs
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Participate in training and educational opportunities to advance technical skills
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program
Valid Apprentice License
Previous experience in electrical work
