Job Summary
The Electrician Apprentice is responsible for performing electrical related work under the supervision of the Master Electrician and adhering to the regulations mandated by the state of Massachusetts.

- Assessments:
- Perform knob & tube assessments resulting in sign-off or quote.
- IC rated light assessments resulting in sign-off or quote.
- Provide all MASS Save and HWE required documentation.
- Repair and installation:
- Repairing damage by crews to light fixtures, wiring, fuses, or anything electrical related.
- Installing electric thermostats.
- Wiring DMS systems, boiler and furnaces electrical components and hard-wiring smoke detectors.
- Code Compliance and Safety:
- Follow rules and regulations of local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Education & Experience
- Enrolled in an accredited electricians’ program.
- Must demonstrate basic fundamental knowledge of using a computer.
- Familiarity with SalesForce a plus.
- Strong customer service, writing, and communication skills.
- Requires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
Supervisory Responsibilities
This is an individual contributor position with no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
Customer settings: This position is based in customer settings and will require work in and out of doors, including in attics, basements, small-confined spaces, and rooftops.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, crawl, or kneel in confined spaces. The employee may be required to lift up to 60 pounds, and must be able to climb ladders, enter crawl spaces, stand on roofs, and move up and down stairs safely.
- This job may require travel in a personal or company-provided vehicle.

Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour
