Ratcliffe College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and committed Resident Graduate Sports Assistant to join our thriving Sports Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate considering a career in teaching, coaching, or education more broadly, and who wishes to gain valuable experience within a highly supportive school environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work across the Senior and Preparatory Schools, supporting the delivery of our extensive sports programme. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with coaching across a range of sports during curriculum lessons and Games afternoons
- Leading and supporting co-curricular sports teams, including weekday training and weekend fixtures
- Assisting with trips, tournaments, and whole-school sporting events
- Contributing to the wider boarding and pastoral life of the school, including evening and weekend duties
- Acting as a positive role model for pupils and promoting the highest standards of sportsmanship, behaviour and commitment
