We have identified positions for both trainee and experienced fitters, to carry out a range of insulation measures to domestic and commercial properties. Full training is provided. Job purpose
To support the company in reaching its daily targets by carrying out high-quality insulation measures and solutions to customer domestic and commercial properties.
Main responsibilities
Carrying out the company’s main activities of installing cavity wall; loft & underfloor insulation (working in confined spaces, working at height, manual handling, and heavy lifting), which will include (but not exhaustive to) site preparation, installing insulation materials, working with power tools & safety equipment and site clear up. Carrying out other company activities such as loft boarding, installing access hatches and ladders, loft shelving, internal wall insulation, rectifying failed cavity wall insulation and removal of cavity wall and DPC cleaning debris and rubble.
Ensure all works are completed in line with industry and company standards to achieve the set quality targets. Liaising with customers, fully explaining what the installation will involve and ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.
Comply with current legislation, building regulations and company health and safety rules. Using care and attention at work to ensure customer homes are left in pristine condition.
Person specification
No previous experience is required, however selection will be based on meeting the criteria below and willingness to learn:
Reliable with proven ability to self-motivate and experience of working without direct supervision, using initiative, and working to deadlines.
Good attention to detail and able to complete work to a high standard, achieving quality and productions targets. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others, providing excellent customer service and being a team player.
Experience of working and complying with H&S policies and procedures within the construction and building industry.
Able to use an iPad/internet.

2 x Trail days at £60.00 each day for a brief feel of the job.
3 months’ probation. Full time/Permanent after successful passing of probation.
Monday to Friday (7.30am – 5pm) (7.30am start at BS40 8HB).
Monthly salary, which can vary depending on experience, with incremental pay progression based on performance & gained experience.
Discretionary bonus scheme upon successful completion of probation period (in addition to basic salary).

Requirements
Current, full driving licence is essential.
CSCS card desirable.
Place of work
Travel is expected throughout Bristol, North Somerset, Bath and Northeast Somerset, Taunton, Swindon, Salisbury, Newport, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Stroud and Exeter and ranges from 15 minutes to 2 hours travel from our main office in Winford, BS40 8HB.
