Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and heating systems in line with industry standards and safety regulations
- Diagnosing faults in plumbing and heating equipment and implementing effective solutions
- Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks efficiently
- Performing heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installations or repairs
- Conducting routine inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely
- Assisting with the assembly of components for new installations or refurbishments
- Maintaining accurate records of work carried out and parts used
- Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing, heating systems, or related mechanical trades
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Strong knowledge of plumbing principles, heating systems, and basic mechanical concepts
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and technical documentation
- Experience with carpentry or related trades is advantageous
- Valid commercial driving licence is desirable for transportation between sites
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
