As an Apprentice ICT Support Technician you will be completing a L3 ICT Apprenticeship programme with Remit Training.
Duties Include:
- Providing internal technical support for computer systems including server, desktop, and networking infrastructure.
- Building PCs, Installation of Operating Systems and peripherals for internal and external customers
- Building strong working relationships with stakeholders (internal teams and external customers / third parties)
- Recording all calls to ensure accurate information about the client’s systems is maintained and available to other team members and account managers.
- Escalating issues in line with guidance and working with other support staff to build knowledge and skills required for all sites supported.
- Complying with all working practices relating to the customer site.
- Building strong relationships with customer account managers
- Having a proactive approach to customer IT systems to ensure future problems are avoided and the longer-term development of the customer IT systems is considered.
- Consult users on customer sites who have high expectations and liaise with your team/line manager.
The ideal candidate will have
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language, Maths & ICT)
