Job Title: Mechanic Apprentice

Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Mechanic Apprentice at our fast-moving used car dealership. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about cars and interested in pursuing a career as a mechanic. We are looking for individuals who have a basic understanding of automotive mechanics and are eager to learn and develop their skills on the job.
Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced mechanics with general vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Perform basic tasks such as oil changes, tire changes, and filter replacements
- Help diagnose mechanical issues and assist with troubleshooting
- Learn and operate diagnostic equipment and tools under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned within the dealership
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of automotive mechanics
- Strong passion for cars and the automotive industry
- Willingness to learn and develop skills as a mechanic
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain a tidy work area
- Valid driving license preferred but not required
