Position Summary
To be eligible, candidates must be rising juniors or seniors (expected graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027) at the time of the internship. Successful interns may be considered for future full-time opportunities following graduation.
Overview
We are seeking a detail oriented Data Analytics Intern to join our team for a focused summer project from June 1 through July 31. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence within a real estate investment environment. You will collaborate with leadership and cross functional teams to analyze data, build insights, and support data driven decision-making—without administrative tasks. The program concludes with a final presentation to senior stakeholders.
Key Responisbilities
- Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze data from multiple systems to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support leadership and business teams.
- Business Insights: Translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for operational and strategic decisions.
- Excel & Data Tools: Develop custom spreadsheets, charts, and models using Power BI, Excel and other analytics tools.
- Collaboration with Leaders: Communicate insights and recommendations to leadership and cross functional teams.
- Final Presentation: Deliver a comprehensive summary of analytics improvements, automation results, and long-term strategies for senior stakeholders.
- Local Travel: During the first two weeks, travel locally within Nashville (up to 25%) for site visits and team meetings.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Finance, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.
- Proficiency in Excel. Experience with data visualization or BI tools is a plus.
- Comfortable presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel locally (up to 25%).
