Description

My client is a dynamic and growing financial services firm located in the heart of Canary Wharf, one of the world’s leading financial hubs. They specialise in investment brokerage, wealth management, and capital markets, catering to a diverse client base from individuals to institutional investors. As part of our ongoing expansion, they are looking for a motivated and driven Trainee Investment Broker to join there team.

Role Summary:

The Trainee Investment Broker will assist senior brokers in managing client accounts, conducting market research, identifying investment opportunities, and executing trades. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is passionate about financial markets and eager to build a successful career in investment brokerage.

Key Responsibilities:

Support senior brokers in day-to-day sales and client account management.
Qualify leads for the senior brokers
Communicate with clients regarding market updates, new products, and account status.
Build and maintain a database of potential leads and investment prospects.
Work towards achieving senior broker status
Attend client meetings, networking events, and training sessions as required.

Key Requirements:

Telesales/ sales background
Strong interest in financial markets and investments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High levels of motivation, resilience, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
