Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Roofing Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in all aspects of roofing and building providing a valuable foundation for a career in the construction industry. The successful candidate will assist and learn alongside tradesmen with various tasks, gaining practical knowledge of roofing techniques and safety procedures. This paid apprenticeship is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills and progress within the roofing trade.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems under supervision
- Learn to interpret schematics and technical drawings related to roofing projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and effectively
- Support with fabrication and cutting of materials as required for roofing applications
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment in accordance with safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment on-site
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
Skills
- Basic understanding of schematics and technical drawings is advantageous
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Knowledge of roofing techniques and materials is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Willingness to learn
