Summer Internship Programme
Our Summer Internship is an 11-week programme providing you the opportunity to experience all that Visa has to offer alongside completing challenging work, building your skillset, and networking with fellow interns and Visa employees. Throughout the internship you will work on BAU work within your team, be given an end-to-end project to complete and take part in a variety of trainings to increase your learning. You will also get the opportunity to take part in a global social impact case challenge as well as hearing from senior leaders through our Visa Executive Speaker Series.
The internship is just the beginning of what we hope will be a lasting career at Visa! If you are successful throughout your internship, you could even secure a graduate role with us when you finish university.
Team Description
As a Product Intern, you will be placed in the Europe Product team at Visa and specific assignments will depend upon your skills sets, interest, and team needs. The products teams are product owners for a set of ecommerce, authentication and consumer solutions such as Affluent or Credit, and are focused on supporting the go-to-market for these products. This comprises a variety product deployment, pre-sales and commercial activities such as detailing the country rollout plan in Europe, preparing sales collateral, and working closely with Product teams in the 40+ countries to support their client needs and engagements.
As an intern, you will join one of the Product teams and make meaningful contributions from day 1. As a valued team member in a non-hierarchical team setup, you will own workstream and project activities, engage in out-of-the-box problem solving, and participate in Europe-wide product and commercialisation projects. You will get the chance to work cross-functionally with multiple teams, countries, and products through a wide variety of tools and frameworks. From technology to business, we are looking for people who can innovate, commercialise and collaborate and bring Visa and their clients into the next level of a rapidly evolving payment landscape.
In the day-to-day work, a typical week can include the following activities:
· Generate reports on product performance by identifying key metrics and areas for improvement.
· Collaborate with stakeholders and brainstorm areas to improve product performance.
· Carry out market intelligence and include insights into a refined product proposition and go-to-market plan
· Prepare presentations and materials for various stakeholders and initiatives.
· Support the Europe Product leadership team with meeting preparation for a senior client or Visa executive
· Create a pitch deck for Product teams in European markets to showcase Visa products.
