We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Finance Apprentice who has completed A Levels and is looking to build a long-term career in finance.
Working closely with experienced finance mentors, you will gain broad exposure to the full finance function within a busy Global construction business. This role offers structured development, practical experience, and the opportunity to study towards a recognised accounting qualification.
You will gain experience across:
Management Accounts Support
- Assisting with month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets
- Supporting cost and margin analysis
- Preparing reports and reconciliations
Purchase Ledger
- Processing supplier invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Assisting with payment runs
- Resolving invoice queries
Sales Ledger
- Raising sales invoices
- Monitoring customer accounts
- Supporting credit control activities
Payroll & Expenses
- Processing employee expenses
General Finance Administration
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting audits and compliance processes
- Ad hoc finance and project work
As your experience grows, your responsibilities will increase accordingly.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- A Levels (including Maths preferred)
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
Desirable:
Work experience in an office environment
