About Us
Tempest Air Conditioning is a newly established but highly ambitious HVAC business with a clear vision for growth. With over 15 years of industry experience behind us, we deliver installation, servicing, and repair work across a wide range of residential and commercial clients throughout London and the Home Counties.
As we expand, we’re looking for a motivated Air Conditioning Apprentice to join the team and grow with the business.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the air conditioning and refrigeration trade. You’ll work alongside an experienced engineer, gaining hands-on experience in:
- Air conditioning installation
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Fault diagnosis and repair
- System commissioning and decommissioning
- Working across a variety of environments, from homes to commercial sites
No two days are the same — you’ll be exposed to a wide range of systems, clients, and challenges.
Training & Development
For the right candidate, we’re committed to investing in your future. This includes:
- Support through relevant college courses (e.g., Level 2/3 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)
- On-the-job training from an engineer with 15+ years’ experience
- Clear progression opportunities as the business grows

What We’re Looking For
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic — some long days and overtime will be required
- Good communication skills
- Interest in a hands-on, technical trade
- Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
- Suitable for someone early in their career or looking to start a trade
