We’re looking for a Mobile Phone Technician Apprentice with curiosity, discipline, and hands-on drive. This role is perfect for someone who loves technology, enjoys working with their hands, and wants to master a real skill in a fast-growing, real-world environment.
You’ll learn how to diagnose, repair, and rebuild modern mobile devices using professional tools and processes — all while being trained inside a shop that values quality, speed, and pride in the work.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnosing faults in iPhones, Samsung devices, and other smartphones using professional diagnostic tools
- Replacing screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, and internal components with precision
- Safely disassembling and reassembling devices using specialist repair tools
- Testing and quality-checking devices before they’re returned to customers
- Learning how to prevent repeat issues through proper repair techniques and maintenance
- Keeping clear records of repairs carried out and parts used
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the repair bench and workshop
- Working to Fixy standards: clean work, clean desk, clean results
Skills & Attributes We’re Looking For
- Strong interest in technology, electronics, or mechanical repair
- Steady hands and attention to detail — you respect the craft
- Confidence using small hand tools (or the willingness to learn fast)
- Basic understanding of computer hardware or device troubleshooting
- Ability to follow processes, safety procedures, and instructions
- Good organisation and time management
- Problem-solver mindset — you like figuring things out
- Reliable, motivated, and hungry to learn
Previous repair experience is a bonus, not a requirement. Attitude matters more.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £7.55 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
