Tulloch of Cummingston are offering a Bricklaying Modern Apprenticeship, with the majority of work taking place on new-build homes and extensions across Moray. No formal qualifications are required, but you must have the willingness to learn and complete an apprenticeship qualification.\n\nTrial & probation period:\nThe successful candidate will be invited to undertake a short trial period. If successful, they will complete a probation period before beginning the four-year Bricklaying Modern Apprenticeship delivered in partnership with UHI Moray. Job responsibilities will include:\nâ¢\tAssisting with bricklaying on a variety of construction projects, including new builds and extensions\nâ¢\tPreparing materials, tools, and work areas\nâ¢\tLearning and applying correct bricklaying techniques under supervision\nâ¢\tSupporting skilled tradespeople on-site\nâ¢\tFollowing all health and safety procedures\nâ¢\tCarrying out general site duties as required\nâ¢\tDemonstrating steady progress in practical skills and understanding of the trade The ideal candidate will be:\nâ¢\tHard-working and reliable\nâ¢\tWilling to learn and committed to developing new skills\nâ¢\tAble to use their initiative and work well as part of a team\nâ¢\tPhysically capable of the demands of outdoor, hands-on work\nâ¢\tPunctual, motivated, and enthusiastic about a career in construction
