DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains all electrical equipment throughout the property.
- Work alongside our Journeyman electricians and follow their instructions
- Help them to diagnose, repair, assemble, and install various electrical components and systems
- Learn to Interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
- Use a variety of tools and techniques to complete electrical tasks
- Order electrical parts, maintain work logs, and collaborate with other service workers to complete large projects
- Responds to work orders on a daily basis.
- Assists other Technicians and Contractors with repairs; handles day-to-day electrical operations.
- Routinely inspects all electrical equipment, identifying potential problems and/or safety hazards, and repairing same, as needed.
- Conducts all necessary electrical readings on all equipment and maintains accurate documentation.
- Wires electrical equipment for convention exhibits and special events.
- Learn to coordinate and install all new electrical equipment and/or wiring.
- Maintains all logs necessary for conformance with established standards.
- Assist other departments when needed.
- Adheres to Company, Departmental and safety policies, procedures and OSHA regulations
- Maintains superior communication via email and pass downs to entire department
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Appropriate electrical (ET Card) required.
- The only way an electrical trainee can work on a job site is if they register with the state. To start this on-site experience, they must apply for their electrical training or (ET Card). And, in order to obtain this card, they must attend a school approved by the California Department of Industrial Relations.
