Currently we are recruiting for an apprentice cycle mechanic which is ideally suited towards a school or college leaver. The ideal candidate will prefer working with their hands and enjoy the demands of a fast-paced company.
MTB Monster is a mountain bike specialists that repair and sells both electric and non-electric pedal bikes. The brands we sell and represent in store are; Trek, Cube, Santa Cruz, Husqvarna, Mondraker, Orbea, Marin, Gasgas, Cannondale, Whyte & Transition
Main Responsibilities:
· Booking in bikes
· Building mechanical & electric bikes
· Keeping up to date with the latest technology
· Repairing & servicing bikes
· Diagnosing faults
· Setting up bikes for customers
· Communicating with customers
· Any additional duties as required by management.
Experience
Experience of working on bikes is preferred but not essential as we offer full in-house training.
Training & Qualifications
From the onset, you will be enrolled on a Cytech course to complete your level 2 & 3, which will lead you to become a fully qualified cycle mechanic upon completion.
Minimum Qualifications required
Actual or predicted GCSE in English language & Maths must be grade 4 or above.
Role Schedule
- Full-time position
- Day shift- 5 Days a week
- You will be required to work every Saturday, and your weekly schedule will span Monday to Saturday, with a designated day off during the week.
