Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship
Scotland’s confectionery brand leader has an opening for an Engineering Maintenance Apprentice. The role will look to provide a training opportunity in a range of engineering maintenance tasks including testing, repair and installation work across a wide range of specialist equipment, production lines and services.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
· Engage with the Operations team to provide proactive support to the plant and equipment.
· Ensure all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
· Undertaking preventative maintenance activities and routine safety inspections.
· Fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown or planned situations.
The successful candidate may be offered day release to study for SVQ Level 2/3 and NC/HN qualifications once the initial competency assessment has been completed successfully.
College study modules will include,
· Turning
· Milling
· Hand Fitting
· Mechanical Assembly
· Mechanical Maintenance
