Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic/Has an interest in learning the trade (training can be provided) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical repair and maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring that all machinery and vehicles are operating at optimal performance, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.
Duties
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on machinery and vehicles to ensure proper functioning.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed, utilizing appropriate tools and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience as a Mechanic or have a keen interest to learn or in a similar role within the automotive or machinery sector.
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team or individually.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanics are desirable but not essential.
- Monday to friday, Saturday expected when busy
