We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Flexible hours - Part-time/Full-Time or Apprenticeship can be considered.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues across various types of vehicles and machinery. This role requires a meticulous approach to ensure all repairs are completed to the highest standards, contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine the appropriate repair methods.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations.
- Repair or replace faulty parts using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in vehicle technology.
Skills
- Proficient in mechanical diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and customers.
- Familiarity with automotive systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems is advantageous.
