About the role:
This is a great opportunity to start your career with Star Refrigeration, learning how a large engineering business operates while gaining hands-on experience and structured training. As an apprentice, you’ll work collaboratively with engineers, managers, and customers, and over time become a super user of Star Refrigeration’s digital systems. You’ll also act as a first responder for administrative and customer queries within the branch.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a first responder for customer and internal enquiries, using our Business Management System – COINS and the SMART Service Management System to log, track, and resolve queries
- Accurately input and manage data across all revenue streams using COINS Business Management System, supporting invoicing, cost recovery, and financial accuracy
- Manage and securely transfer company documentation using FTP applications
- Work collaboratively across the branch to support engineers, managers, and customers, sharing information through Microsoft Outlookand Microsoft Teams
- Create, manage, and progress purchase orders and work orders within COINS, in line with Star Refrigeration processes
- Support monthly financial reviews to provide management information and resolve data queries
- Maintain customer relationships and respond to enquiries professionally, using Outlook, Word, and Excel to prepare correspondence, reports, and documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and systems as your confidence grows, progressing through training to become a super userof COINSand SMART systems

Salary: £18,564 per annum
Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8am – 4:30pm, Friday 8am – 3:30pm
