Marketing and Business Development Intern

TRVLR is a web app which allows users to plan and organise their solo and group holidays by having all their information in a centralised place and providing inspiration in the planning process using AI. (www.trvlr.uk)

We are currently looking for an intern to join TRVLR prior our launch.

This is an equity-only role, with the opportunity for financial compensation post our pre-seed fundraising. The role will run on a trial basis for a month and then we can discuss an equity partnership that suits both you and us.

This is a remote role, but presence at some events in London may be needed.

Requirements

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Highly organised
• Own and use your own laptop/computer
• Have an interest/passion for travel and the tourism industry.
• Thrive in uncertainty and a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a start-up environment (preferable)

Job Role

• Reaching out to prospective users, bloggers and brands via social media and Instagram
• Engagement with the travel community on social media
• Attending and helping during exhibition shows
• Researching potential partnerships and starting the business development process
• Help create social media content ideas
• Collect user feedback on the MVP at launch
• Be the first point of call for user enquires
• Be involved in the fundraising & development of the mobile apps
• Be involved in PR and media enquiries/outreach
